Appalachian Outfitters in Greenville, SC is a single-door, family-owned outdoor specialty shop focused on providing a carefully curated selection of quality footwear, clothing, gear, and accessories to folks in upstate South Carolina.

We believe that while spending time outdoors or traveling to far-away places can indeed be challenging, these experiences make us better people.  Getting out of our "comfort zone" is an essential component of personal growth, enlargement of perspective, and strengthening of character.  Because these experiences can be so significant, we work diligently to "fit" each customer with appropriate products perfectly-suited to their needs in the right style, size, and color.  This emphasis on "fit" is deeply personal to us and is at the heart of everything we do, and because of it we've never been comfortable selling gear, technical clothing, or footwear online...it simply doesn't reflect our hands-on approach.

-Appalachian Outfitters SC will gladly price-match any/all  local competitors' prices for in-stock items.  We also gladly accept all competitors' coupons, and will match all competitors' promotions, provided we have the items in-stock. (We even often can match online prices; stop by the shop and give us the opportunity to say "YES").
